EASY AND QUICK
As shown in the above picture, MRV has its
own pneumatic actuator equipped inside
the valve body. The piston of the actuator
and the disc of the valve are directly
connected. When the piston moves by air
supply, the disc also moves back and forth
exactly in the same direction of the flow
path intuitively. This simple mechanical
structure and its operational principle allow
remarkably quick Open and Close by
pneumatic actuation.
PERFECT SEALING
Unlike the seating of those conventional
valves such as Butterfly, Ball, Plug, and so
on, there are No Scratch, No Push,
No Damage, and No Transformation
between the disc and the seat of MRV The
Axial Flow Valve since there is no hard
friction occurs to the seat as well as the
disc. This unique structural feature realizes
remarkably perfect sealing performance
with a much longer lifespan.
LESS FRICTION LESS WEAR
As explained in the above, such "friction" that occurs between the disc and the seat of those conventional rotary type valves such as Butterfly, Ball, Plug, and so on inevitably leads to
wear of its materials. Again, this wear leads to damage and transformation of the part
(disc and seat). Then, again, those damage and transformation eventually leads to leakage.
This is a very usual and typical problem and task that we need to work on for solution.
Of course, every valve has its own limited lifespan but our goal is to minimize maintenance,
cost, and headache while using and operating the valve. MRV is the final destination and
resolution for the ultimate flow control in the industrial environment.

MRV The Axial Flow Valve allows space saving in the plant.
Upon the valve's actuation and operating type, MRV realizes remarkable reduction of space volume occasionally up to 60% or
more compared to those conventional rotary or linear type valves
such as Ball, Plug, Globe, and so on.
Not only space saving but also overall efficiency can be maximized
since this space volume reduction inevitably leads to saving various
products and materials such as pipes, additional parts, and so on.
Of course, it all means 'cost saving' in the long run as well.

It provides fast response within 0.1 to 1 sec.
Also, as it provides stable operation in
severe condition that is very hard to open
and close the valve due to high pressure
and high differential pressure (up to 500 bar),
it is remarkably useful for shipbuilding,
offshore plant, and severe service.
It is operated by its own built-in pneumatic
actuator which means no need a separate
actuator to be assembled. Therefore, its
weight and volume can be reduced by half
or more. It is easy to install MRV in such space-limited plant environment and it leads
to less maintenance and cost.
The conventional plug valve quite often requires higher cost, complicated assembly,
heavier additional parts, and conservative
approach. Meanwhile, MRV is very potential
and innovative to replace this conventional
plug valve for Oil&Gas and Marine application
due to its own unique features as follows.
